Gluten Free Waffles

What you'll need

  • 220 g gluten free self raising flour
  • 10 g baking powder
  • fine sea salt , generous pinch
  • 2 large free-range eggs
  • 120 ml pure maple syrup , plus more for serving
  • 350 ml milk
  • 120 g unsalted butter , melted and cooled slightly

Method:

 

  • Combine the gluten free flour, baking powder, and salt in a mixer and beat on low to combine. Add the eggs, milk, maple syrup, and melted butter.
    Beat on high until smooth and fully combined.
  • Cook the waffles according to your waffle maker’s instructions.
  • Serve with maple syrup. Add bananas and strawberries as toppings, if desired. We served ours with pecan nuts, this is, of course optional!
