Nut-Free Pesto

What you'll need

  • 50 g basil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 15 ml lemon juice
  • 10 g nutritional yeast
  • pinch sea salt
  • 80 ml olive oil

Method:

 

  • In a food processor with the S-shape blade, add the basil and garlic. Pulse a few times to chop. Add the lemon juice, nutritional yeast, and salt, and pulse again to roughly combine. Turn the food processor to a low speed and drizzle in the olive oil. Continue blending until the mixture is combined, but there is still some texture. Set aside.
